Penny joined the Foot Centre Group having moved to Melbourne from the UK. She secured her Master’s in podiatry at the University of Brighton, after completing her undergraduate degree in Biology, at the University of Manchester.
She loves podiatry as it allows her to combine her enthusiasm for human biology with her passion for patient care. Penny spent several years working as a hospital care assistant prior to, and throughout the Covid pandemic. Since qualifying she worked in a variety of settings, such as high-risk foot care across multidisciplinary teams in the NHS, domiciliary care and more general care in private clinics.
A more personal drive is her love of running – she has completed multiple marathons and regularly uses the activity as a means of maintaining physical and mental balance in her life. She understands the value of being active and strives to empower her clients to achieve their goals, helping to live the lifestyle they desire.
In her downtime Penny enjoys socialising with friends and family, discovering new places to eat and being outdoors whenever weather permits (hoping that the weather here will be better here than in England).
