Each rehabilitation program follows a structured progression model:
- Mobility – Addressing joint and soft tissue restrictions specific to your injury.
- Muscle Activation – Targeted exercises to “switch on” key stabilisers before loading.
- Main Lifts – Compound strength movements to improve motor unit recruitment and rebuild functional strength.
- Assistance Exercises – Focused on improving functional movement patterns through joint and multi-planar exercises.
Unlike many traditional programs that isolate muscles, we train the body as a connected system. This is where we are different.
- Cool Down – Restoring mobility, circulation, and recovery at the end of each session.
Program Duration
A typical rehabilitation program runs for 6–12 weeks, depending on the injury and your goals. This timeframe allows for:
- Development of neuroplasticity (retraining movement patterns).
- Improved motor unit recruitment (strength and efficiency).
- Long-term improvements in strength, coordination, and resilience to reduce reinjury risk.
Session Length
Session length depends on the stage of your injury and the work required. Most rehabilitation sessions run between 30–45 minutes. Each session is supervised by our podiatrists and strength & conditioning coaches to ensure correct progression, safe loading, and a focus on returning you to full activity as efficiently as possible.
